Wanted! A teacher who understands that the work of education is not easy. There will be long nights, days where things don’t go as planned, limited appreciation for the the things you do, people outside the classroom who tell you what to do and how to do it, and parents and supervisors who constantly ask you to do more with less. There will be classrooms filled with children who may or may not value what you have to offer. There will be times when you have to love those who are hard to love, support those who think they can’t until they can, stretch those who prefer the path of least resistance, and speak up and out for those who have no voice.
